Pet Comparison

I thought it might be useful to show several popular pet choices in a side-by-side comparison (all at the same level). It may help new Venos to make more informed pet selections. I know when I first started I had no idea which pets were better, so I spent a lot of time looking at the pet stats listed in the Auction House (a grueling process... trust me). I've learned that, within a species, the pets with the lowest starting lvl will have the best base stats but fewer/lower lvl skills. Pets with higher starting lvls will have more/high lvl skills but the base stats won't be as good. If you want the absolute best pet within a species you need to tame the lowest lvl one available then spend the cash to add/upgrade it's skills. I've asked Ravy to help me with this mini-database since she has several pets that are different from my own, and she is also the same level as myself. The pets I've listed are all lvl 85, but the differences remain proportionate regardless of level.

***It should also be noted that there is an error on these stat panels. The stat "Damage" should actually be "Accuracy". The "Phys. Atk." AND "Atk. Rate" stats are the ones you should be interested in if you want to determine which pet does the most damage.

The pets listed here are: Baby Hercules, Shadou Cub, Armored Bear, Crystalline Magmite, Elder Goth Marksman, Shallowhirl Tortoise, Celestial Plumpfish

I'll edit this post when I have more pets to add (such as the Petite Sawfly).

wow I didn't know the Herc is such better than all the others! I know that he is better.....but that better....
And what about giving your turtle a name? Wink
